Two fantastic pages by Gerry Wood painted for the British comic Look and Learn, published 25-03-1978.

The Eclipse of Electon's Twin Suns brings about a devastating prophesy! Despite Emperor Trigo's best attempts to evacuate the city, one elderly deaf lady has been caught unaware of the impending threat.

The story was written by the series' creator Mike Butterworth who was coming to the end of his tenure. Plenty of drama and lots of bold colour typical of Wood's approach to his Look and Learn work.

There has been a recent resurgence in interest in the Trigan Empire, with new editions becoming available - we have many pages by all the artists who worked on the strip, so do take a moment to browse the available pieces online.
