This is the unique original Gouache painting by Gerry Wood.

14 May 1940 was the last day in Holland's five-day war. Two German squadrons flew back and forth over Rotterdam. At the end of the day, two square miles of the city centre had become a vast heap of rubble. Holland surrendered.
