This is the original Pen & Ink Wash by Tony Weare.

From a true story about Australian stockmen who sought to round up as many "killer" bulls as possible in Western Queensland in the 1870s.

Here James Grimshaw saves his partner from a charging bull after the stockman's mount had fallen on him. True Adventure: Rogue Bull. Cowboys in the Australian outback try to rope a bull. This is the original artwork from Look and Learn no. 398 (30 August 1969).
