Description: Home In Time for Tea. From Look and Learn no. 1042 (27 February 1982). The development of Clipper ships ensured speedy transportation of goods such as tea from China and the East Indies to the docks in England. In the main picture the clipper is being attacked by a pirate ship. The other details show the routes the clippers sailed and highlight the clean design shape as opposed to earlier vessels that allowed them to travel at speed.
