This is the original Gouache painting by Patrick Nicolle.

A very rare original cover to Thriller Picture Library #221 Battler Britton from April 1958. Very little of his original cover art has survived and this dramatic dogfight between a Spitfire and a German Heinkel bomber is in perfect condition. Superbly painted by Nicolle in his detailed style.
