Prince Valiant has rediscovered the Shield of Achilles by accidently being swept through a cave at high tide and discovering a small community which need his help. He is to deliver the shield to Alaric in order to free Aleta and Nathan, and he is also to return with settlers to help the community thrive in a years' time.
