This is the unique original Gouache painting by Peter Jackson.

Once Upon a Time... Punishment in Tudor times for dishonest traders included time in the stocks or pillory. It is typical of Jackson's approach that he finds humour in the rather grim historical facts. See for example the children's faces or that of the woman looking at the man who is enjoying it perhaps too much. The dog also has a curious interest.
