Description: Two original illustrations used to illustrate the incident in 1961 when a London taxi driver stole Goya's painting of the Duke of Wellington from the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square London. He stole the painting by putting it under his coat and walking out of the gallery. He returned the painting some months later. Illustrated here is the theft with a version of the original mounted together and professionally framed.
