This is the Signed original Gouache painting by Wilf Hardy.

Warriors With Wings: Daredevils Over the Desert. Amongst the heroes of the Royal Flying Corps aircraft reconnaissance in the desert war against the Turks and Germans was a young Australian pilot, Lieutenant F. H. McNamara who earned a VC for the rescue of Captain D. W. Rutherford. This is the original artwork from Look and Learn no. 816 (3 September 1977).
