This is a Signed Limited edition collection of prints.

Five black and white prints featuring gothic variations on the theme of "Death and the Maiden" from long time British comics fan favourite John Bolton. The fine printing shows off John's detailed pen and ink line work to best advantage. Some nudity.

Published by Editions Deesse, Paris, 1985, as part of their World Famous Comic Book Artist series. The first plate is signed and numbered by John Bolton 586/888. First plate very fine others near mint. Folder is in fine condition and includes a photo of John and a short summary of his work to that point.
