This is the Signed original Gouache painting by Leslie Ashwell Wood.

An original painting used for the cover of the magazine Modern Wonder issue dated November 19th 1938. This a really fine example of Ashwell Wood's cutaway painting style showing the working details of the Southend on Sea Lifeboat in 1938. A copy of the original magazine accompanies the art.
