Description: Leslie Ashwell Wood was best known for his detailed cutaway paintings as featured on the centre page spread of Eagle in the 1950s. However, he was a skilled draughtsman and artist and created many beautiful technical drawings for numerous other magazines and books during his long career. This scene shows all the details clearly labeled and was expertly painted circa 1950s for a book.
