Macmillan educational posters

We are fortunate to offer this selection of original posters published by Macmillan in the 1960s. They were used in schools and colleges throughout Britain and embrace a wide range of topics including agriculture, geography, history, natural history, Bible studies and the sciences - all designed to appeal to students of school age and beyond.

As well as being educational, they provide a fascinating insight into British social history and the level of scientific understanding at the time.

The posters are also fine pieces of art, with many painted or drawn by accomplished artists including John Rignall, Dorothy Fitchew, Mac Tatchell and Eileen Sopla.

All posters are the original items dating from the 1960s, are in excellent condition and are suitable for collection and for display purposes.
